Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coastal Crest Notary website and the notary and related services we provide. By using this site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
Not legal advice
Coastal Crest Notary is a mobile notary service. A notary public is not an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida and may not give legal advice, accept fees for legal advice, draft legal documents, or explain or interpret the contents of a document. If you need legal guidance, please consult a licensed Florida attorney.
Our services
We witness signatures and administer oaths as authorized under Florida law, and we may provide related services such as loan signings, apostille assistance, and fingerprinting. We verify signer identity, confirm willingness and awareness, and complete the notarial certificate. We do not guarantee that any agency, court, lender, or third party will accept a notarized document.
Your responsibilities
- Provide a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for every signer.
- Present the complete, unsigned document (unless the law allows a prior signature) and any required witnesses.
- Sign willingly, knowingly, and while able to understand the act.
- Provide accurate information when booking, including the correct location and timing.
We reserve the right to decline or stop a notarization if identity cannot be verified, if the signer appears unwilling or unable to understand the act, or if we believe the transaction may be unlawful or fraudulent, as required by Florida law.
Appointments, fees, and travel
Notary fees are charged as authorized by Florida law, plus a travel fee based on location and timing that is quoted before the appointment. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. Same-day and after-hours availability is not guaranteed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as early as possible; a travel fee may still apply if we have already traveled to the location.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coastal Crest Notary is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service at issue.
Website use
This site is provided "as is" for general information. Content may change without notice, and we do not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
